Akigawa valley is located in the western part of Tokyo and is famous for its hot springs and dynamic waterfalls.

 2. Ranzan Valley

Ranzan Valley is a unique valley with stepping stones and cobblestones located in the western part of Saitama Prefecture.
Stepping stones are placed on the river in the middle of the promenade, allowing visitors to cross to the other side of the river if the water level is not too high.
Along the way, visitors can walk to the top of Mount Ohira via an observation deck and beautiful stone pavement along the river.


 3. Yoro Valley

Yoro Valley is located in the southern part of Chiba Prefecture and is an nice place to visit for hot springs and waterfalls.
Much of the land in Chiba Prefecture was originally underwater, so there are less high mountains and valleys in the area.

 4. Dogashima Valley

Dogashima Valley is a secluded spot located in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture.
It is also known as “Chamberlain’s Walk” after Basil Chamberlain, a Japanese studies scholar in the Meiji era, who often visited the area.
You can take a relaxing stroll in this unexplored area that is not even a candidate for a trip to Hakone.


 5. Todoroki Valley

Todoroki Valley is the only valley located near to central Tokyo.
Although smaller in scale than suburban valleys, it is a spot where visitors can enjoy nature to the fullest, with rivers and waterfalls.
